Role: Business Administrator

Job Description
Our Business Administrator role at Onvector is integral to our overall business model in how we serve our customers. This role will be a master of multi-tasking with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, email, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. To be successful as a Business Administrator, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Candidates must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, they should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
Essential Functions
- Offer administrative support across the organization
- Welcome guests that visit Onvector
- Coordinate front-desk activities
- Distribute correspondence and redirecting phone calls accordingly
- Sort and distribute daily mail, order office supplies, and keep inventory of stock
- Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement 21 years old
- Located near Somerville, MA (02143)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of industry or customer service experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all time
- Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays and weekends
