Industrial Process Water

Process and wastewater at some industrial manufacturing facilities contain PFAS. These include some chrome-plating facilities, operations that involve degreasers, and those that manufacture a wide range of consumer products that incorporate PFAS such as non-stick cookware, stain-proof clothing and carpeting, food-packaging and personal-care products, and many others. PFAS are essential to semiconductors, medical devices, wind turbine blades, and many other critical industries.

Onvector’s Plasma Vortex technology can be used for high-concentration process and wastewaters (greater than 1 mg/L PFAS). For more dilute streams, Plasma Vortex can be incorporated into treatment trains downstream of a PFAS removal/concentration module.
